Indukern’s Food Division develops a new range of solutions for vegan desserts

  • The Blend-a-Kern VLP range allows for the creation of 100% vegetable desserts with various textures and flavours

Barcelona, XX June 2017.- Indukern’s Food Division, which develops, produces and distributes tailor-made solutions and resolves technical problems in the food industry, has launched the new range of Blend-a-Kern VLP solutions for vegan deserts based on oats, almond and tiger nuts. Blend-a-Kern VLP 8417 and Blend-a-Kern VLP 8517.

The Blend-a-Kern VLP 8417 solution is a texturiser for vegan desserts with a creamy texture, while the Blend-a-Kern VLP 8517 solution is for vegan gelatin desserts. Both are made from modified starch, vegetable proteins and stabilisers. Moreover, they do not contain any lactose or allergens, and are nutritionally enriched with calcium and vitamins D and B12—elements which can be deficient in the vegan diet.

With this launch, Indukern once again displays its commitment to developing food solutions aimed at meeting the requirements of current consumers. In the same vein, the company launched the Blend-a-Kern VCE range at the end of 2016, which allows for the production of vegan meat substitute products with the same consistency, texture and taste of traditional products, without containing any type of animal protein and with a nutritional content that is optimised for this type of diet.
